In his time at Chegg Skills, Michael established the media team from the ground up. He supported the Chegg Skills launch (rebranding from the existing property, Thinkful) as a key stakeholder during the rebrand, helping establish brand guidelines and standards for all image and video content.
Working closely with the product team, Michael also supported a complete overhaul of the Chegg Skill's curriculum; Moving from a primarily text-based curriculum to a media-first, interactive product. Through extensive testing and validating with students and buyers alike, Michael established a fresh approach to curriculum content through engaging and educational videos and in-depth, beautiful imagery.
Given the high-demand for online education, Chegg Skills produces it's programs at high volume and under intense timelines. Michael has developed production processes that allow for the delivery of hundreds of custom images and videos per year. He has established relationships with the right vendors and built out internal teams to support a high volume of content, all within tight budgets and with a high bar for quality—exceeding both visual and educational standards for the industry.
